Works for about 5 months April 10, 2024 Reviewer: alex c from washington   Ordered and installed Nov 23, and by March 24 the unit already has a strong whistling noise. Will it cost $400 every 6 months to replace this thing? I feel like got I got a refurb unit. Was this review helpful to you?

Motor replacement Faber September 14, 2023 Reviewer: peter withers from Warren, RI United States   I had to trim one piece of plastic with razor knife to fit, only took a second. Otherwise went right in, about 10min install complete.  Only complaint is cost, $400 for a plastic fan seems ridiculous but in the grand scheme of things didn't have to replace hood and worky about painting and possible damaging adjacent cabinets Was this review helpful to you?

Fast shipping May 11, 2023 Reviewer: Tom m from Washington   Ordered even thou it said ships in 1 to 2 weeks and it arrived 5 days after ordering The case looked a little different than mine but the holes lined up and it fit fine. Literally took less then 5 minutes to put in Best price by far Send them an email with the model number of your hood and they will tell you which one you need Was this review helpful to you?

Housing Has Been Changed January 15, 2022 Reviewer: Scott from USA   Some genius decided that the housing for this motor needed redesigning. I had to remove the motor from both the old housing and the new one and put the new motor in the old housing, otherwise it would not have fit. It's not a terribly complicated job to switch them up, but honestly, who does this? I am quite certain I ordered the correct part. All of the part numbers match up with my model of hood, so this kind of thing really shouldn't have happened. Let's talk parts did not make a mistake, this is on the manufacturer.
