This part was so much cheaper at Let's Talk Parts. I am really pleased with the the cost and with how quickly it arrived.
I was told by a repair person that I needed to replace the valve and the igniter. I bought this valve and an after-market igniter that someone else claimed worked on their BlueStar. Got the valve and igniter in, but no working oven still. The broiler will come on, so the upper portion of the valve certainly works. Not sure about the rest. Same repair person told me that the igniter might not have enough amperage to open the valve. Could this be true?
